The Puffy Mattress is the culmination of four years of research and development, foam formulations, and sleep trials. We believe, as do the majority of our customers, that we have crafted the perfect sleep system — especially for those with back pain.

It’s no secret that foam, especially higher quality foams such as those used in the Puffy, can only be compressed tightly for so long before degrading in quality. To ensure you receive your mattress in immaculate condition, we make, compress, and package our mattresses in smaller batches so they are only compressed for a week or two before you receive it.

What is the difference between Puffy mattresses?

Puffy Mattress is cooling and comfortable with a medium-firm feel. It’s got 5 layers and is 10” thick.

Puffy Lux Hybrid Mattress (most popular) is highly breathable and airy with targeted spinal alignment and a luxurious medium-plush feel. It’s got 6 layers and is 12” thick.

Puffy Royal Hybrid Mattress is infused with cooling gel to reduce heat retention and has premium zoned full-body support that adapts as you move. Plus an ultra-plush feel with a deluxe cover. It’s got 7 layers and is 14” thick.

Are the foams in the mattresses CertiPUR-US® certified?

Yes! All Puffy mattress foams are CertiPUR-US® certified and independently tested for quality. CertiPUR-US® approved foams give consumers peace of mind that they are made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals, formaldehyde, and phthalates. Puffy mattress foams also have low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).

What are the dimensions and weight of the Puffy mattresses?

Puffy mattresses are available in all standard US mattress sizes.

What type of base or foundation can we place the Puffy on?

Puffy Mattresses can be placed on most surfaces!

  • Box springs – if you currently have a box spring that’s in good condition, or are planning to get a new one to add some more give to the mattress, go for it!
  • Slatted frames – just make sure the slats are no more than 4 inches apart!
  • Platform & adjustable bases – find comfort using your Puffy on any solid or adjustable base!
  • Floor – if you have a minimalist room design, the Puffy will even work perfectly on the floor!
